🌈☮️ PEACEVOID Roadtrip: Update v2.0
🌞 Hey groupies, hope you’re having a chill day/night!
We’re very happy to present you our second Roadtrip update! so pack your bags, grab a drink, put some music on, and enjoooy the ride!
It’s been only about 1 month since we launched, yet we’ve reached some incredible milestones together!
Seeing all these numbers feels really cool, not gonna lie, but it’s nothing compared to what we see everyday in our forever growing community.
Groupies are incredibly kind, peaceful, loving, they help each other, share stories, laughs, thoughts, art, music, movies, they feel part of a family. Because they are ❤️
We wanna say thank you, thank you so much for putting the best of you out there and help the community stand out from many others around. People love the groupies not only because of the colorful art, but because of the strong open-minded crowd we managed to create.
When our trip was just starting, we made our first Medium post introducing the Roadtrip.
At that point we just wanted to make sure you know we were heading somewhere, that we had plans. It was an overall rough idea of what to expect from us.
Today, we’re bringing you a more solid version of it, we wanna share what are our next stops in this beautiful road trip, and what are we working on while you’re reading this.
There’s two different main routes groupies are taking on the trip:

🎨 THE ART ROUTE: the cool colorful side, art drops and contests, merchandising, toys, videos, music, etc.
💾 THE TECHNOLOGY ROUTE: the interesting part, where we’re gonna approach and explore new horizons. The so called ‘utility’ in the NFTs.
THE ART ROUTE
Shrooms, flowers and lots of colors! what’s happening in the creative studio?
🌐 Website: we’re gonna put hands to work and polish our website to perfection, adding a new landing page and implementing a beautiful merch store is part of our plans.
🧢 Merchandising: luckily we’ve had a lot of kind groupies reaching out and offering help with our merch drop, the truth is that we’re still deciding on where to go.
Rather than a simple illustration thrown over a white t-shirt, we’d like our stuff to be really outstanding. Not to feel just like merchandising but a piece of art in its own. A clothing line that speaks for itself.
🧸 Groupie toy: it’s already in the making! we’ve partnered with Smoking Beard to help us bring groupies to life, he’s a third dimension wizard and we just looove his work!
We’re still testing materials, shapes and polishing the models until we find the sweetest spot. Here’s one of the latest drafts:
🎶 Groupie radio: a lot of you have been already sharing your music for us to add to the playlist, so we’ve created this Google Form to make it more organized. Please do apply there if you’re a musician and want to be heard!
We’re cooking up some very cool visuals to make it a more complete experience! be sure to be subscribed to our YouTube channel.
🖼 Art contests: we’re actually running a halloween art contest that consists in ‘spookifying’ your groupie. Read more about it at our Discord announcement!
🍄 Art drops: We’re still exploring the best ways to do so, so far we’ve got two different dynamics in mind…
The first one would be implementing Polygon drops, which will allow us to save money and time by sending big batches (for example, to unique holders). The second one, is to have a different contract to mint artworks you’d be able to buy by spending $PEACE.
Wait, did we said $PEACE? oh well, guess that leads us to…
THE TECHNOLOGY ROUTE
We’re lucky enough to have Uncle Pennybags joining us to advise and brainstorm about different types of utility we can bring to our peaceful beings, and how to innovate in said area. He’s got a bright mind and understands DeFi and NFTs like no other, so we’re pleased to have him onboard.
We’re now about to start exploring and implementing:
☮️ $PEACE Token
$PEACE will be the underlying token used across the PEACEVOID World for all things Groupies related. In essence, $PEACE will be used to interact with new features such as collecting artworks and minting new pieces of a future secondary collection.
Please keep in mind that $PEACE tokens are used solely to interact with the PEACEVOID ecosystem. $PEACE is NOT an investment and does NOT hold any economic value.
There are three important aspects of the $PEACE token which we’ll cover below as to how our token will distinguish itself from other NFT tokens in the space: Token Distribution, Liquidity, and Utility.
TOKEN DISTRIBUTION
In essence, $PEACE tokens will be distributed to users primarily in three ways:
· Initial distribution: there will be an initial free lump sum claim of $PEACE tokens for every Groupie you own. The purpose of the initial distribution is foremost to reward our loyal Groupie holders for believing in us and secondly to have enough tokens initially to provide liquidity for the $PEACE token.
There will be an undisclosed snapshot date till we get closer to the date of the token release. The snapshot date will happen on a retroactive date prior to our snapshot date announcement so think twice before you consider letting go of your Groupie as you may potentially miss out on the initial free claim of $PEACE tokens! (snapshot date has not happened yet).
· Time-weighted yield: $PEACE will be generated per day based on how many Groupies you own and also how long you’ve owned your Groupie for. We want to reward our most loyal Groupie holders by adding a time-weighted mechanism to how $PEACE will be generated into the ecosystem. The longer you hold your Groupie, the more $PEACE tokens you’ll earn per day!
We’re currently working with a brilliant math wizard in figuring out the sweet spot for exact figures but time-weighted yield will be what enables us to unlock a plethora of innovative DeFi-NFT mechanisms.
One possibility is interest-free fixed yield loans by locking your Groupies for a fixed period of time, for example.
· Active contribution: From time to time, we’ll reward Groupie holders with $PEACE tokens through active contribution in the PEACEVOID World. These include things like promotional/marketing contests, bug bounties, and other positive contributions that adds value to our ecosystem as a whole.
LIQUIDITY
Many NFT projects don’t consider the liquidity issue when they release a new token, but having ample liquidity for $PEACE in our opinion is critical to the success of PEACEVOID and we have plans for this!
We currently have a reserve of funds saved specifically for the purpose of providing liquidity for the $PEACE token, and will opt to add additional liquidity into the ecosystem as it grows.
Furthermore, Uncle Pennybags has agreed to match 1:1 liquidity to our liquidity pool so we’ll have TWICE as much liquidity as initially expected! In the future, we’ll also explore ways to promote and increase liquidity for our token so that Groupie holders can trade with as minimal price impact as possible.
UTILITY
$PEACE is the central piece used to interact with the PEACEVOID World, and we already have a ton of utility planned to ensure we have a robust ecosystem!
· Secondary collection: First and foremost, we’re going to have a secondary collection that is only mintable by burning a fixed amount of $PEACE tokens. The secondary collection will be rolled out by slow drip as there won’t be enough $PEACE tokens to mint all pieces of the secondary collection until there are enough $PEACE tokens generated.
This will create a constant demand and burn of $PEACE with the secondary collection serving as a $PEACE sink for a fairly long period of time.
The secondary collection will be used to interact with your Groupie NFTs in various ways in order to bring your Groupie to the third dimension, The SandBox. In essence, the secondary collection will serve as the main ingredient required for Groupie holders to get access to all things PEACEVOID x SandBox related!
· Rare artworks and collectibles: Tying back to our artwork route, $PEACE tokens will also be used to purchase very scarce artworks and collectibles whenever they are available.
🌈 GROUPIES GOVERNED DAO
We believe NFTs are truly valuable not only because you can verify the scarcity and authenticity of your art, but also because of the decentralized nature of crypto. We plan to create an official DAO for Groupie holders to drive the strategic direction of Groupies as a whole and direct how our community funds should be used.
In the future, royalties earned from the secondary collection in addition to a portion of future sales made will be used to fuel a community vault governed by the DAO. By holding a Groupie, you’ll have voting rights to decide how we use these funds and what’s the best course of action to take in order to grow the PEACEVOID Ecosystem.
With a constantly growing community vault, Groupie voters can choose to allocate these funds however they want in order to maximize the growth of the PEACEVOID. This could mean funding community PEACEVOID initiatives, cover any operational/marketing costs or used to make strategic purchases of other blue-chip NFT assets in the space in order to grow the community vault and the presence of Groupies within the NFT space.
Voting rights are given based on each Groupie you own, and we may potentially explore staking opportunities where we give heavier voting weights to Groupie holders who are willing to commit and ‘lock’ their Groupies for a fixed period of time.
