Here’s the so awaited update on our Roadtrip, where we’re gonna talk about the advances we managed to do since the last update that happened a month ago.

First of all, we’d like to thank you because of your patience and trust in the process 🙏🏼
We know this is a space that moves very fast and you all have been incredibly supportive since day one, letting us take our time to develop things the right way and not putting any extra pressure, that’s something we really appreciate.

The reality is that we’ve had some unexpected issues regarding the token and the organization of the team lately. This slowed us down a little and that’s why we haven’t brought any news earlier.
Anyways, we managed to solve everything and we’re now back on track, stronger than ever!

As you might know, we’ve established two different routes that groupies are taking on their trip…

🎨 THE ART ROUTE: the cool colorful side, art drops and contests, merchandising, toys, videos, music, etc.
💾 THE TECHNOLOGY ROUTE: the big brain part, where we’re gonna approach and explore new horizons. The so called ‘utility’ in the NFTs.

THE ART ROUTE

First things first, and the main reason we’re here, the cool art!

👕 PEACEVOID Store: We have the pleasure to partner with a fellow groupie, MisterSausage, to make our shop the trippiest one around!
They’re creating a store with MetaMask user login + MetaMask wallet verification and payment, all in one. That means you’ll be able to gain access to different pieces depending on:
· If you hold a groupie or not
· Which traits your groupie has

We’ve decided to divide our store in two different rooms…

· Merchandising: a shop with unlimited supply, where you’ll find groupie related items and apparels. This section will be open to everyone and released in December, so you get to look even prettier during the holidays ✨
· Clothing line: we’re also working on a more premium line in parallel. This section will be exclusive for groupie holders and our most dedicated supporters. We aim to get everything ready in about 3–4 months, since the production times are quite slow for a whole collection.

🖼 Art drops: I’ve been working on some special pieces that we’re gonna be airdropping to holders once we’re all set up with our own Polygon contract.
December is a month to give back, and we have some awesome gifts planned for you, remember to check out your wallet once in a while for some !trippy surprises 😛

🧸 Groupie toys: We started working on a 3D model a couple of weeks back already, you’ve seen some wips, but the truth is that I realized it’s pretty boring to have figures that are just identical to the 2D groupies. We’ve been coming back and forth with this design and it just didn’t click, so we scrapped this first idea and started to work in a more authentic and crazier version.
These figures will be made out of vinyl and be hoodie exclusive for now (hazard, red and purple).

PEACEVOID’s land near Euphoria

🌐 The Sandbox: As we all know, groupies will turn into 3D playable characters in the future after eating their shrooms, that’s why we’ve decided to secure our land inside the metaverse.
Luckily, we have found a premium location, a 3x3 land near BAYC and RTFKT where we’re planning to build our festival as a whole experience.

🎪 Groupies appearance at a music festival: Groupies are going to be featured on their first music festival on early December!
It’s gonna take place at the Harlem Festival in Santa Fé, Argentina.
We’re gonna be taking over a couple of big screens and filling them with groupies and trippy visuals along with other great artists from the scene.

We’re so excited about this, because our beloved LetsSuckLess will be working with us by bringing groupies into the third dimension for the fest! he’s a great artist and Meme Lord of our community, we definitely recommend you checking his work!

🫂 Groupie meetups: We’ve been talking a lot about this, and I think it’s definitely crucial that we all get to know each other some day!
It won’t be easier since we’re all from different parts of the world, but I can ensure you that something’s gonna be planned for next year.
Some of the ideas you purposed are:
· Groupie meetups in NYC/Miami and Europe
· Groupie meetups at different festivals
· PEACEVOID tent at the Burning Man

So far, it’s 100% sure that I’m going to Europe on March next year, so maybe we can already start organizing something with groupies from there. Regarding the USA, I still don’t have exact dates but it’s on the plans to go and visit you guys over there!

🎶 PEACEVOID Radio: We started releasing playlists at Spotify for each new command on the server (we’re having a new one each month).
So far, we’ve got: !peace, !trippy and !groovy.

On the other hand, we’re reaching out to a couple of 2D animators to start our own YouTube lo-fi radio, it’s gonna be sick, so stick around.

THE TECHNOLOGY ROUTE

Wanna know wen $PEACE? c’mmon, we all do!

☮️ $PEACE token: $PEACE will be the underlying token used across the PEACEVOID World for all things groupies related. In essence, $PEACE will be used to interact with new features such as collecting artworks and minting new pieces of future collections.
If you haven’t already, read more about token distribution, liquidity and utility at our last Roadtrip: update v2.0.

We were looking to find the best way to implement the time weighted yield, and because our contract wasn’t prepared to record the amount of time each wallet holds a groupie, we wanted to do it off-chain.
The reality is that it’s not worth the shot doing it off-chain since it’s a more manual process and things are likely to fail, so that’s why we decided to go with a different method, and do it all on-chain as it should be!
Let me tell you how it’ll work…
*Please have in mind that numbers are subject to change.

To align with the token emission times from our team, and the possibility to already start accumulating $PEACE, there will be an initial free claim of tokens for every groupie you own.
We’ll start to count from 0:00hs tomorrow (GMT-3) to assign the initial distribution to the groupies.
For example, if it takes 30 days for us to release the token, you’ll be getting 150 $PEACE (30 days * 5 $PEACE) and so on.

We’re gonna have a new contract where each Groupie would need to be wrapped in order to start getting $PEACE dripped. Once wrapped, the $PEACE token starts to drip at the rate of 5 $PEACE per day per Groupie.

The more you hold your Groupie, the more $PEACE will be dripped to your wallet. The drip will have a geometric growth if the groupie’s kept in the wallet. At a rate of 10% per month, the first month you’ll receive 5 $PEACE, the second month you’ll receive 5.5 $PEACE, the third month you receive 6.05 $PEACE, and so on.
If a groupie is transferred to another wallet, the groupie will start its cycle again with 5 $PEACE per day during the first month.
Every Groupie will receive $PEACE token for a period of five years.

Please keep in mind that $PEACE tokens are used solely to interact with the PEACEVOID ecosystem. $PEACE is NOT an investment and does NOT hold any economic value.

Primary uses for $PEACE will be:
🍄 Purchasing mushrooms (secondary collection)
🖼 Purchasing new exclusive pieces
🧢 Purchasing exclusive merchandising
🌸 Customizing your groupie’s name

So basically, when’s the token releasing?
An ideal release date would be at the end of December, but in the worst case, it’ll be postponed to early January 2022.

🍄 Mushrooms: We’re changing a little how things are gonna work out with the shrooms, so we’re still discussing some specific topics on this collection, but so far what we’d like to achieve is:
Make you able to feed 1, 2 or 3 mushrooms to your groupie to receive a VX Groupie whose rarity will depend on how many mushrooms you burned. In this case, the traits that the VX Groupies will have could be segmented into 3 categories so that within each segment the one you get is random.
An additional complexity could be that the rarity of the VX Groupie depends on a score based on the number of mushrooms AND the rarity of the Groupie.

👾 VX Groupies: Some of you have asked if we already started to work on the third collection, the 3D voxel groupies, and we haven’t yet. We’d like to figure out the mushrooms first so that way we’ll be able to know how VX Groupies will look and their rarity levels, amount of assets, etc.
